I am running for re-election to City Council because of my love and commitment of the City of Duluth. I have lived here for over 25 years, raised my children here, worship here, and volunteer here.   When you care about something so much, you can't help but desire to give back and to make the City desirable for future residents.  

My goal in my first term was to continue to make Duluth a destination for anyone looking for a place to live, work and play. I focused on fiscal responsibility, improving infrastructure of roads, sidewalks and storm sewer systems and overall beautification of the City. I support the Duluth Police Department and have supported the pay and incentives to allow the department to become fully staffed and we are only 2 positions away from that goal.

For my next term, I plan to focus on job creation by attracting livable wage jobs to our community – downtown and the rest of our community. I plan to focus on increasing the inventory of housing by focusing on single-family detached homes and I will continue to make sure the community is safe through an efficient & friendly police department. I enjoy serving as City Council and I look forward to serving another term!
